‘Platform ki Pathshala’ is an initiative by the North Central Railway (NCR) Women’s Welfare Organisation (Prayagraj division). The initiative aims to provide education to children from marginalized communities, especially those who reside in & around railway stations.

 

It was started in 3 districts of Uttar Pradesh namely: Prayagraj, Tundla, and Aligarh in March 2019, and has been running successfully since. RDWA collaborated with NCR to run the Aligarh division by fostering passionate youth to build an understanding of street- situations of children. Since 2019, RDWA has reached to more than 200 children through this project and connected more than 50 youth volunteers.
