Transforming Spaces
(Since 2022)

In February 2022, RDWA undertook a state-wide painting drive under ' the 75th Independence of India: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostsav' across various stations of the North-Central Railways to create awareness through art. The drive included large scale murals on the platforms and station buildings which celebrated the culture of each city, while advocating for children’s rights in the city. Some of the larger themes depicted in the paintings include:

1) Local Heritage: Including the city's monuments, cultures, and other architecture which helped develop a feeling of pride and belongingness within the city’s residents. Capturing and representing local tales, famous and impact stories of the city.

2) Education and social work: Depicting children's education needs and celebrating the initiatives undertaken by the city to bring change to society. 

​

3) Indian Railways: Acknowledging the impact of the railway of the city and celebrating their achievement by depicting technological marvels include trains like Vande Bharat, new CNG engine, old trains, etc.

​

4) India and its campaigns: Depicting various social campaigns running across India for the betterment and development of society. This includes policies like the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and the national 70-year celebrations under ‘Amrit Mahotsav’
