Every year Indonesian Students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) immerse with street connected children affiliated with the Rag Dreams' Weavers Association (RDWA) to understand and share each others culture. With the collaboration of North- Central Railways and Aligarh Railways' Scouts, the event takes place at the Railway premises.
As the whole world shares one culture of fighting against COVID19 , this year's sharing was around building knowledge and awareness about Coronavirus and understanding the challenges students and children in street situations are facing. With Superhero (COVID warrior) a central character, Indonesian students and children together created a story on How their COVID Warrior save the world from the pandemic with certain qualities (Powers).
Dean Furqani (President of Indonesian Student Association) and her team shared that each one of us are Superheroes when we follow safety measures of hand-washing and wearing masks. This cultural exchange is a step forward for the organization to build an empathetic society for children in street situations.
